Ivan Drago

Ivan Drago

Ivan Drago was born in February 23rd, 1961 and his career is a heavyweight boxer. There isn’t much information surrounding his childhood, but one would assume that he was raised with discipline, due to growing up in such a rough environment.
In his adulthood, Ivan became an excellent athlete, proving physical prowess when he became the Olympic gold medalist in the 1984 Olympic games.
Ivan would eventually join the Soviet Army becoming an Infantry Captain, it was during this time that a boxing trainer named Sergei Rimsky and a high-ranking political adviser named Nicolai Koloff were scouting the soldiers in order to find a worthy athlete. Ivan fought a fellow soldier named Alexei Baluk defeating him and catching the eye of prospects, from here Ivan was trained in Soviet Union (Russia) and went on to defeat a series of other boxers. He had an impressive amateur record of 100 wins, 0 losses, 0 draws and 100 knockouts without a single loss.

Apollo Creed

Apollo Creed

By the time of Rocky, Creed was established as the undisputed World Heavyweight Champion, who had been undefeated and had cleared out his division of challengers prior to his fight with Rocky Balboa. Following his split-decision victory over Rocky, Creed challenges Rocky to a rematch in Rocky II to prove that Rocky got lucky, but he loses, losing his world championship and suffering his first career loss. Creed retires after this fight, but he returns to train his former foe, Balboa, in Rocky III following Rocky's loss to Clubber Lang. Creed and Balboa bond over this time, becoming close friends. In Rocky IV, Creed decides to make a one-off return to the ring to fight a Soviet Union boxer by the name of Ivan Drago. The fight is billed as an exhibition, but unfortunately, Creed is knocked unconscious in the second round, resulting in his death.
